This series draws on themes of childhood joy and visual clarity, using bold, analogue-inspired textures to create artworks that feel both playful and composed. The larger format invites the same sense of focus and lightness seen in Sue’s original greeting cards, reimagined for framing and display.

About the Artist:
Sue Doeksen is a Dutch illustrator and visual artist based in Arnhem, in the east of the Netherlands. Her work spans illustration, installation, and public art, and is shaped by a process-led approach that prioritises tactility, clarity, and experimentation. Working across paper, ink, digital collage, and 3D forms, Sue creates visual worlds that speak to both the everyday and the imaginative.
