Product Information & Colour Accuracy

We want you to know exactly what will arrive. This page explains the limits of what a photograph and a description can tell you.

Colour

Screens differ. Colour on your phone, laptop or monitor is affected by the display technology, its calibration, its brightness and the light in your room. The colour of the item you receive may differ from the colour shown on your screen. Where an exact colour match matters to you — matching an existing piece, for example — contact us before ordering and we will describe the finish as precisely as we can.

Natural materials

Wood, rattan, stone, clay, marble, leather and natural fibres vary by nature. Grain, tone, veining, knots and small surface marks are characteristics of the material, not defects, and no two pieces are identical. Handmade items carry small variations in shape, glaze and finish for the same reason.

Dimensions and weights

Measurements are approximate and given as a guide. Small manufacturing tolerances are normal. Please measure your space, doorways, stairs and lifts before ordering large items — a piece that will not fit through the door is not a fault in the product.

Prints, framing and sizing

Print sizes refer to the paper or canvas size unless the product page says otherwise. Where framing is offered, the frame adds to the overall dimensions. Proportions of an image can be cropped slightly to fit a standard size ratio. Prints, like all pigment on paper, will fade over time if hung in direct sunlight.

Assembly

Some items require assembly. Where they do, the product page says so and instructions are supplied. Assemble on a soft, level surface, follow the sequence given, and do not fully tighten fixings until everything is in place.

Product descriptions and specifications

Descriptions and specifications are compiled from information provided by our suppliers and manufacturers. We check them, but specifications can change without notice as manufacturers revise their products. If a specification is critical to your purchase, contact us to confirm it before you order — and if an item arrives materially different from its description, it is covered by our Return & Refund Policy and by your legal rights.

Care

Follow the care instructions supplied with each product. Outdoor items should be covered or stored out of season and in poor weather. See Warranty & Product Quality.

Styling images

Some photographs are styled to show a product in a room setting. Only the item named in the product title is included — props, plants, cushions and accessories shown alongside it are not part of the purchase unless the description explicitly says so.
