How our prices work, what is included, and what we will and will not do with them.

Currency

Every price on this website is displayed and charged in pounds sterling (GBP). If your card is issued in another currency, your bank performs the conversion at its own rate and may add a foreign-transaction fee. We do not control or receive those bank charges.

What the price includes

Delivery is free on every order. Delivery is free on every order, with no minimum spend, and no delivery charge is added at checkout. Any applicable sales tax is shown at checkout. For deliveries outside the United States, import duty and destination-country taxes are not included — see International Orders, Duties & Import Taxes.

Reference and "was" prices

We do not display struck-through or "was" prices that we cannot evidence. Where a reference price is ever shown next to an item, it will be a price that item was genuinely offered at on this website for a meaningful period beforehand. We do not present another retailer's price, a recommended retail price or an invented figure as though it were our own former price.

Sales and promotions

Where a discount is advertised, the promotional period and any conditions are stated with it. Promotional codes cannot be applied retrospectively to an order already placed unless we say otherwise. We may end a promotion early, but never on an order already confirmed.

Price changes

Prices can change at any time before you place an order. The price you pay is the price shown at the moment you confirm your order; a later increase or decrease does not affect an order already placed.

Pricing errors

We try hard to price everything correctly. If an obvious error occurs — a decimal in the wrong place, for instance — we are not obliged to supply at that price. We will contact you, and you can either pay the correct price or cancel for a full refund. We will never take extra money without your agreement.

Stock and availability

Availability shown on the site is our best current information. Very occasionally an item sells out between your order and our picking it. If that happens we tell you promptly and offer a replacement, a wait, or a full refund.
